Little Lemon, please don't do that in public.

Found this special lemon in my backyard garden last time. Forgot about it until I found this photo again.

I think it is better to share with everyone about this special lemon, rather than keeping this photo to myself. Isn't it great to share the joy and happiness and laughter with others? Some who are down might be smiling after seeing this photo. So let's smile and lighten up our days!

Fried Durian Flowers 炒榴莲花

When I say "Durian", this word will surely catch the eyes of many. There are two extremes for Durian: either Super Like or Super Dislike.

Now let's stop talking Durian. And I wanna ask if you guys have ever tried Durian flowers? Flowers? This might sound interesting to some. Yesterday my Mum just fried these flowers (below) for dinner.

I somehow remember that last time my Mum had fried these things with curry powder. It tasted better.

A little story about Durian Flowers. During blooming season, newspapers (or maybe large plastics sheets are also used) will be put under the trees to collect the fallen flowers. Before they are cooked, the sticky nectar is removed first.

So, this is one of the special dishes that I have ever tasted: Fried Durian Flowers (炒榴莲花)

Journey to Hat Yai, Thailand 2011

From Alor Star, you can reach Hat Yai City in approximately 2 hours by car-ride.

Once we reached the city, we checked in for rooms in V.L. Hotel, which is near to railway station.

The things here are very cheap. Many people buy things like crazy. I believe ladies would love this place, where you people can find inexpensive, yet beautiful clothes, shoes and handbags. Guys will like too. Inexpensive clothes and shoes are searchable in Hat Yai. Imagine you can buy a pair of leather shoes for 200 Baht, equivalent to RM20.

The looks of the city is more or less the same with ours in Malaysia. Our signboards have Malay words, but theirs Thai words instead. Honestly speaking, the traffics here are quite unpredictable, therefore have to be extra careful. And regarding banks, I saw that at almost every corner, there is one bank. And about the shops, in Malaysia one shop unit is one shop unit. Blurred? Okay I explain. I found out that in this city in every shop there are sub-shops. In the middle of the shop lots, there is pathway linking to every sub-shops. If you want to know better, better see that by yourself.

Besides that, Floating Market is a must-go-destinations, which only appear during Friday and Saturday. There are boats harbouring beside the river bank which are the "food stalls". Passing of money and food is by using a special stick (shown in video). There are free pottery available, shown in the video too, if you buy drink such as coconut, lychee, orange etc. Besides that, do not forget to look around for souvenirs at the entrance of this market.

Another thing is to go for Sky Buffet at 169 Baht (about RM17) per person. The restaurant is situated at 33th of Lee Garden Plaza. You cannot go up directly with lift (from ground floor to 10th floor, then change designated lifts to go to the top). The signature dishes are the Tom Yam Soup and Fish Maw Soup (鱼鳔汤). I show these in video too. While enjoying the food, you can view the whole city. If you want to find a good spot to view the city, please reach there at 12pm (Malaysia time or 11pm (Thailand time). At 12.30 pm (Malaysia), many people will start going in.

To conclude, still the main attraction is shopping..:D

Okay, let us watch or re-watch my Hat Yai video..:D

Coca-Cola Glass Special Edition???

Funny enough, I found this special glass while I visited Thailand. Cola glass made with clay??? Although it has no "Thailand" word or logo that indicate its origin, well I don't think I will ever forget that I bought this funny stuff (in my view is funny) from Thailand.

Coca-Cola Special Edition???

第一次参加短片比赛!

伤心不再 No More Cries [HD]

Adventure in Miri Crocodile Farm!

Imagine you are surrounded by huge numbers of huge crocs!!! Arrgghhh!!!

Don't worry! In Miri Crocodile Farm, they are kept in high-fenced ponds.

Not just crocs, there are other types of animals.

The farm is located from Miri City by 30-minutes car ride.

At RM 15 per adult, you can venture into the farm!

Let's have a glimpse on the crocs!

"I'm shivering! haha"

"Don't show me your teeth, I'm not a dentist!"

 Wild cat with innocent eyes

Squirrel eating

Monkey!

Deers!

Bird meowing???

There are more to it. But I only uploaded some here. By the way, the farm offered Crocodile Meat Satay and Bah Kut Teh on the day of my visit. Those were the food of that day. I wanted to try satay but I was too late.

After about 3 hours of looking around, it was time to go home.
